On Friday , February 3, 2012 the man of my dreams proposed to me. The week was long and dreadful due to me being sick. I had bronchitis. It was the first time I had taken a whole week off work. I lost about 6 pounds because I wouldn’t eat anything. And every day Brad came over before work to check on me, whether I needed some soup or sprite, or just a, “good morning beautiful.” Brad got the ring about a week before I got sick and was waiting for me to feel better so that he could propose. Soon enough Friday came and I was feeling MUCH better, not 100% but a whole lot better than I did. Brad asked if I wanted to get ready for the day and go out but I was determined to stay home in my sweats not wanting my hair or makeup done. Brad’s parents had just moved into their new home and brad wanted me to come over and see the new carpet (what a great excuse to get me out of the house) so with my tangled hair and pale face we drove over to his parents house and to my surprise, no one was home. Brad asked me to sit on the couch and he said he would be right back. a few long minutes later brad comes in with his guitar. lol (he’s so cute) Brad sat down in front of me and played me a song that he wrote for me as i read a note he had written for me (at this point i still had no idea he was proposing) Brad finished his song, put his guitar down, pushed the otomin away lol , grabbed my hands and knelt down on one knee. ha ha he was shaking so bad, and right about now is when i knew he was proposing. as tears filled my eyes Brad said some of the nicest things to me and then popped the question. . .Will you marry me? lol before he could open up the ring box i started crying , said yes, and threw my arms around him. lol i was so happy. I will always remember that moment.
